I work closely with both our financial planning team and our clients, particularly those who have experienced a life-changing personal injury and are navigating the complexities of financial settlements. My role is to ensure our clients feel fully supported and that their experience with us is seamless. Whether it’s assisting financial planners in preparing for meetings or being the first point of contact for our clients, I aim to provide clarity and reassurance every step of the way.
HOW I HELP
I help by ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, preparing meeting packs, creating client scorecards, and managing resources within the team. I also focus on alleviating any concerns or anxieties that our clients might have, ensuring they feel supported and heard throughout the process.

Hazel Gibb is a Team Lead based in our Charlotte Square office. Her role primarily focuses on clients who have received financial settlements, particularly following personal injury claims. These clients often face significant challenges and transitions, and my objective is to make sure that the entire process—from the initial consultation to the final implementation of financial plans—runs as smoothly as possible.
One of Hazel’s key responsibilities is managing the workload within the team, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and that our planners are well-prepared for client meetings. By creating meeting packs and scorecards, she equips the team with the information they need to provide informed, tailored advice. But beyond the logistical elements, Hazel also serves as a primary contact for clients, offering them reassurance and acting as a bridge between them and our financial planners.

“We want our clients to feel comfortable and confident to approach us with any query or worry. We aim to be their “go-to” if they have any financial concerns. Additionally, we provide coaching to support clients in reaching their own decisions regarding their future goals. My goal is to ensure that clients feel confident and at ease, knowing they are in safe hands.
One of the most satisfying aspects of my role is working with the client services team harmoniously, pulling together and collaboratively working together in a way that everyone’s voice is heard. From a client perspective, witnessing clients fulfilling their goals and dreams, despite having gone through a personal injury is hugely satisfying, knowing that we have helped to create financial security to allow them to focus on the positive.”

Maintaining harmony within the team is my priority, but when needed, I can be assertive to ensure that the team remains focused on our collective goals.”
